Graduation Day Family 4

Congratulation to Family 4 on graduation day from The Stable Foundation. Thanks to Michael and Barbara, Robin, Dianne and all the volunteers that have helped with this family and those who generously contributed to make this housing possible.

Family 4 is a good example of why "housing first" is such a successful strategy. After being on the streets for 17 months, the house, a place to live was the starting point for a remarkable transformation. Once housing is in place the client is able to concentrate on other things, like transportation, communication, health concerns, and employment.

This family has been challenging and rewarding beyond measure.

The Stable Foundation is still a new organization, learning as we go. It turns out our clients are our best teachers for how to do this work.
