Big thanks to Lindsay Group who volunteered to help install a community garden at Westside Heights Apartments last Saturday.
Everyone moved an entire load of topsoil up a pretty good incline to reach the planting area.
We were joined later by poker player volunteers as a second shift.
Thanks also to Rachel and Steve at Westside Heights, and to the folks who live and now garden there for helping put in the herbs, and blueberry bushes.
There are even rain barrels to collect water.
